Richard and Liz Downunder p2

from a fabulous beach. Today continued our drive eastwards and crossed Port Phillip by ferry to Sorento. Arrived at Inverloch on the Bass Strait after driving through very strong crosswinds. Stopped for lunch to watch surfers a while. Now enjoying air-con and free wi-fi at the public library.

2013-04-01 had little luck finding wi-fi or Internet over Easter. Enjoyed good weather at Traralgon and for our three nights at Bairnsdalel. Easter Sunday we drove to Omeo on the Great Alpine Road and met friends John and Trish, last seen 30 years ago in England. This morning made an early start for the drive along the Princes Highway from Bairnsdale to a lovely campsite at Twofold Bay near Eden, our first stop in NSW. Enjoyed a great lunch stop at Gypsy Point and arrived in Eden at 13.10. This afternoon strolled along the nearby beach taking snaps before swimming in the ocean and rinsing off in the pool. Decided to stay here for two nights. Lovely spot, friendly people. Frustrated with my lack of ability to use the blog effectively and just hope that people can read it ok and forgive the mistakes thwart I fail to correct!
